Second grade students at North Wales Elementary School celebrated the 100th Day of School with a special 100th Day project! Each student brought in 100 items to share with the class. Items ranged from cotton balls, to baseball cards, to written words. Throughout the day they stopped to do 100 exercises included 10 lunges, 10 jumping jacks, 10 toe-touches, all the way up to 100!
6th graders in Mr. Fickert’s science classes researched and built maglev trains, which they then raced against 7th grade students from Spring Ford School District via Skype.The challenge included researching maglev, planning a route, building a train and debating its merits.
