    Goal 1 - Coordinate the development, deployment, and communication of goals and action plans designed to improve overall student achievement including:
    • Refinement of the process for use of data to inform instruction
    • Expansion of digital learning initiative
    • Implementation of a plan to provide training in trauma-informed instruction including training of staff regarding Adverse Childhood Experiences
    • Expansion of efforts to provide for the mental health needs of our students
    • Development of a plan for Full Day Kindergarten
     
    Goal 2 - Develop and deploy a plan to expand the provision of data and information to our school board for policy setting, deliberations, and discussions including:
    • Expansion of the efforts to create and sustain cultural proficiency in our district
    • Recruitment, hiring and retention of a workforce more closely resembling the diversity of our students
    • Long range facility planning
    • Financing options to meet budgetary needs for implementation of strategic plan goals
     
    Goal 3 - Coordinate the development, deployment, and communication of plans to expand efforts to maintain a safe and orderly school environment.
     
    Goal 4 - Coordinate the development, deployment, and communication of goals and action plans designed to improve overall district operations and efficiency including:
    • New Student Information System
    • Link It data warehousing, analytics, and assessment solutions
    • Mentoring new Assistant Superintendents and Cabinet Members
     
    Goal 5 - Develop and deploy programs to increase the superintendent’s communication with employee and community groups including:
    • Provision of information regarding potential legislative action addressing state funding and state testing
    • Partnering with NPEA and NPESPA to increase communication and sharing of points of pride
     
     
     
    On October 9, 2018, the NPSD Board of School Directors concluded the performance assessment of NPSD Superintendent Dr. Curtis Dietrich and determined that he met or exceeded all objective performance standards for the 2017-2018 school year.
