SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIAN/CLEANER

$16.01/hr. Minimum

 

Primary responsibilities for custodian cleaner are:

  • Cleaning services and tasks.
  • Minor repairs and replacements.
  • A host of other custodial and maintenance type duties as assigned.
  • Restoration of resilient and hard surface floors and renewal of carpeting.
  • Replacement of ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and tubes.
  • Replacement of HVAC filters.
  • Provide for custodial-type security services.
  • Providing set-ups for concerts, meetings, and other events as directed.
  • Performing other services as directed by the Facility Supervisor.

QualificationRequirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.

North Penn School District is seeking on-call support staff personnel to provide per-diem clerical, secretarial and instructional support assistance in our elementary schools, secondary schools, and Educational Services Center. Hourly rate will vary depending on substituting assignment.

Qualifications/Requirements

· High school graduate or equivalent for clerical and secretarial support

· Associate’s Degree or2 years of college for instructional support

· Proficient computerskills (Microsoft Office), general office clerical skills for clerical and

   secretarial support

· Experience working with children preferred for instructional support

o   Supervises students in the cafeteria during lunch time

o   Cleans lunch tables and keeps cafeteria neat and orderly

o   Works under direction of the Café Monitor Supervisor and the Principal
