North Penn School District administration presented our Dashboard Indicators to the community on Tuesday, May 7. The report takes a wide-approach to reviewing performance indicators across the district.
Dr. Curt Dietrich hosted a Community Forum on Thursday, April 11 at Penndale Middle School. The format of the evening allowed community members to hear about the 2013-2014 school district budget and how state and federal mandates affect NPSD’s budget. Topics discussed that night included PSERS, funding for special education, charter schools and more. Thanks to our panelists State Representative Matt Bradford, State Representative Kate Harper and State Representative Todd Stephens for participating in this important discussion.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recognized NPSD as a 2013 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year for strategically managing and improving the energy efficiency of its entire building portfolio. Through its partnership with the ENERGY STAR program, NPSD has improved its energy performance, saved money, and helped to protect the environment for future generations
General Nash Elementary School teacher, Christine Grudzinski named a grand-prize winner in the Voices of Inspiration Awards for Teaching Excellence, sponsored by Freedom Credit Union and the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit.
