Acting as the District’s Voice...

In many ways, the school/community engagement office is the district’s voice to the media, the community and the world. Whether it’s communicating with the local media about our wonderful schools, students and teachers, or disseminating information in the event of an emergency, the school/community engagement office keeps the community informed.

External Communications
The school/community engagement office is the media’s first point of contact. In addition to responding to press requests, the office also writes press releases promoting the excellent education the district provides, special events and accomplishments of our students, faculty and staff.

In addition to communicating with the media, the office also creates several publications to disseminate information to district residents and parents. One of these award winning publications is the North Penn School District Activities Calendar.
