GOODWILL AMBASSADORS will hold elections at their last meeting of the year on Wednesday, May 31st in the senior cafeteria. Please be present to vote for next year’s officers!

The Chinese Culture Club will be holding its final meeting of the year on Wednesday, May 31, in A008 at 2:15. We will be holding elections for next year's officers.  Please attend if you are interested in a leadership position next year.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY: There will be an informational meeting for anyone interested in joining the 2017-18 Boys’ Cross Country Team on Tuesday, May 30 at 3:00 PM in K043. Please see Coach Werner if you have any questions. 

Open gym for girls’ basketball begins on Tuesday, May 30.  All girls from 7th through 11th grade are invited.  The open gyms will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:00 PM through the end of June.

LIBRARY BOOK RETURN All library materials are due no later than May 26th.  

NPHS Key Club’s last meeting will be on Tuesday May 30th in the Sr. Cafeteria at 6:45PM.  Seniors and officers will be recognized.  Refreshments will be served. Juniors are to bring drinks, and sophomores are to bring desserts.

Please pick up any medication that you have in the health suite before the last day of school.  Be sure to come at the end of the school day to pick up your medication.  Please remember that no medication can be stored in the health suite over the summer.  Thank you.  (Health Suite)                                                    

ENACT CLUB will meet on Tuesday, May 30th at 2:15 in C117.  If you are interested in volunteering and environmental issues please join us.  This will be our last meeting of the year.  Contact Mr. Collier with any questions.

NPHS Engineering Academy Nanotechnology and Engineering Presentation All are invited to the 2017 Nanotechnology and Engineering presentation here at North Penn High School on Tuesday, May 30th in the Audion at 7:00PM.  The event begins in the Audion with discussions about current research endeavors in North Penn High School’s Engineering Design and Development course and ends in the auxiliary gym with poster sessions, live demonstrations and more.  We hope to see you there! Graduation pictures North Penn High School has made arrangements for a professional studio to photograph each graduate receiving his or her diploma.  A proof photo will be mailed home within a few weeks of graduation and will include information about how to purchase copies if you wish to do so.  Purchases can be made online as well.  Log on to www.legacyphoto.com and enter the student’s last name and their pin number.  The pin number is located on the order form or can be obtained by calling or emailing Legacy Photo.  Their phone number is 610-279-1791.

Teacher of The Year Nominations If you've been inspired by a teacher this year, please nominate him or her for the annual H. James Finnemeyer Teacher of the Year Award. Each year, the SGA sponsors this award to highlight the best and brightest at North Penn High School.   Nomination forms are available in the K-Pod office and are due on Tuesday, May 30th.


Kiss a Senior Goodbye The school year is almost over, and that means it's time to say goodbye to our seniors. Let your favorite seniors know how much you appreciate them by sending them a kiss. The Kiss a Senior Goodbye sale begins on Monday, May 22nd and will last until Friday, May 26th. Send your senior a bag of 17 Hershey kisses with a message for the low cost of 1 dollar. Kisses will be sold during all lunches.

 Senior Class Video If you would like to be featured in the Senior Class Video that will be played at Class Reflections, please upload baby, childhood, or recent pictures to google drive and share them with Ms. Jermain.  All photos must be submitted by May 26th.

Summer Reading Book Sale The IMC is holding a Summer Reading Book Sale beginning May 15th and running through June 8th.  Stop by the IMC to buy your required summer reading books.  Only cash accepted for purchases.

Key Club Summer Blood Drive Key Club will be hosting a Community Blood Drive on Wednesday, July 19th at North Penn High School in the Aux. Gym from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. Please go to the Red Cross Blood Drive site to schedule your appointment.

PARKING APPLICATIONS Parking applications for the 2017-18 school year are now available in in K025, D103, K-Pod reception office & the athletic office.   All students in the classes of 2018 and 2019 with a valid license and a non-expired, registered vehicle can apply for a parking space.  Students need to complete the entire application form and return these forms to their respective home offices.  Students must be cleared of all obligations prior to turning in the application for parking. Current juniors with parking privileges must re-apply.  There will be a $50.00 fee due at the time of hang tag distribution in the summer. Students with a valid license can complete a bus waiver option to reduce the fee to $10, but waiver must be submitted by June 8th, 2017.  (This does not apply to walkers).  Please do NOT send money in with application.  You will be notified in August when hang-tags are ready for pick-up and payment is due at that time. North Penn High School Key Club would like to invite the North Penn community to the Memorial Day Service to remember our fallen NPHS graduates. The service will take place at 11:15am on Monday, May 29th, 2017 at Penndale Middle School's Memorial Garden.

Class of 2018 Anyone interested in raising money for their individual Disney trip should go to E025 to take advantage of the THREE fundraisers available right now: the chocolate bar, cookie dough, and discount card sales. Make money to reduce the cost of your trip! Juniors who want to sign up for Disney next spring should pick up an information packet outside E025, K237, D103, or on the 2018 webpage. Get your deposit in by May 31st to be eligible for a FREE Disney Trip!

JUNIOR PHYSICALS:  It is a State mandate that all 11th grade students have a physical examination.  Physicals done after September 1st of your sophomore year are valid.  Physicals may be performed by your primary care physician or at NPHS with our school doctor free of charge.  The State form for a private physical and the permission form for a school physical can be found on the NPSD website under the Families directory.  Physicals are now past due.
