FBLA Officer Elections - It's time to elect FBLA officers for next year.  Please see Mrs. Westerlund in E140 to pick up election information.  Elections will take place on Tuesday, May 9.  

NHS:  Thursday’s NHS meeting in the Audion has been cancelled.  We’ll meet on May 18th in the Audion for our final meeting of the year.  Please consult the following link for updates: http://www.npenn.org/Page/20601

Korean-American Culture Society will be meeting after school on Thursday, April 27, 2017 in room D107.   We will be electing officials and cabinet members for next school year.  All members are encouraged to come to this meeting.  If you have any question, please see Mr. Kim in room D107.

Olympic Day Volunteers Seniors - if you're interested in volunteering at one of our elementary school's Olympic days, you must pick up a permission form in the K-Pod reception office. Olympic days will be held on Friday, May 26th. Sign-ups are limited to ten students at each school, and you must complete your permission forms before signing up.

Auto Club will hold its next meeting on Thursday, April 27th at 2:30 in room H003.

Forza Motorsport 6 Tournament – The North Penn Auto Club is hosting a Forza Motorsport 6 tournament on Friday, April 28th at 3pm in the senior cafe. You can sign up from the QR-code that can be found on our posters throughout the school or go to www.NorthPennAutoClub.org/ to sign up. The buy-in is $10 and it will be a double elimination bracket. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to next year’s NPHS Mini-Thon.! (Mr. Boyer)

2017 NPHS Auto Show – The 2017 NPHS Auto Show is coming on Thursday, May 25th and will be held during all lunch periods in the bus circle.  Sign-ups for students who are interested in entering a vehicle will occur from April 21st to May 4th.  Applications are available in the main cafeteria and room H003.  Students also have the option to complete the application online at www.northpennautoclub.org/autoshow.  Please see Mr. Boyer in room H003 with any questions.

Graduation Speech applicants are reminded that they need to turn in their graduation speech to Mrs. Linn in F040, or via email to linnal@npenn.org, by 3:00 on Thursday, April 27th.

Do you want your face on a chess piece? The engineering department and chess team can make that happen! Stop by at E138 or H008 for a sample and more information.

From the Class of 2018 Cabinet:  Sophomores and Juniors - are you thinking about going to Disney your senior year? Do you want to fundraise and make some money towards your trip? Then you should sell chocolate bars starting Monday, April 24 through May 5! For more information or to pick up chocolate bars, come to E025. Bars are $1 each and 50% of the sales money goes towards your personal Disney account. You could reduce the cost of your trip!

Senior Prom is approaching!! It will be on Saturday, May 13th from 6- 11pm at Drexelbrook.  Late ticket sales will be from Monday, April 24th through Wednesday, April 26th for $80 each.  All sales will be in the Senior Café during lunch periods. Make sure all your obligations are cleared before you go to buy your ticket!  If you’re bringing a guest who doesn’t go to North Penn, be sure to stop by 0F40 and fill out a guest form before you get your ticket.  Don’t miss out on the biggest dance of your North Penn career!

NPHS Theatre Don’t miss your chance to get the hottest musical theatre ticket of the season!  No! Not Hamilton that’s old news! It’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat running at North Penn High School April 27th, 28th and 29th at 7:30 PM with a special Sunday Matinee on April 30th at 2:00 PM.  Tickets are on sale now:  $10 for adults and $5 for students.  Ticket Order forms can be found in the K-Pod Reception office – and return your completed order there, too.  Or go to www.npenn.org and click on the link for on-line ticketing information.  Avoid the long lines at the door and get the best seats now for the exhilarating story of a young man who overcomes bullying to become the savior of Egypt – and then most choose whether to help those who bullied him – his own brothers – who are now in need his help to survive. Told with colorful costumes, brilliant lighting, incredible dancing, and songs that will make you want to download the music, Joseph is the show to see!

JUNIOR PHYSICALS:  It is a State mandate that all 11th grade students have a physical examination.  Physicals done after September 1st of your sophomore year are valid.  Physicals may be performed by your primary care physician or at NPHS with our school doctor free of charge.  The State form for a private physical and the permission form for a school physical can be found on the NPSD website under the Families directory.  Physicals are now past due. 

PARKING APPLICATIONS:  We are no longer accepting applications for the 2016-17 school year, the parking lot is full.  You may see your grade level office or athletic office for temporary/daily spaces.  Applications for the 2017-2018 school year will be available in May.
