    Reading Super Bowl All football players please see Ms. Neubert in A114 to get your permission slips and books for the upcoming Reading Super Bowl on January 31st.  

    The 69th annual American Mathematics Competition ( AMC 12A) will be given on February 7th, during periods 1, 2 and a part of period 3.  This contest is the first in a series of competitions that leads to the International Mathematical Olympiad.  Interested students should register with their current math teacher no later than January 31.

    Girls’ Lacrosse There will be a meeting on February 12th at 3:30pm in room C-39 for girls interested in trying out for the lacrosse team.

    Exam Exemptions Seniors may exempt up to 2 final exams (2 major subject or 4 semester courses). In order to exempt, seniors  must have an A in each marking period.  Seniors who would like to exempt a final exam  are to speak with the teacher and ask to be added to the exemption list. Students must do this prior to the exam.

    Transcript Office   There is an UPDATE to the Transcript Office hours.  If a student needs a transcript during periods 1-4, Mrs. Borchers will now be located in the College & Career Center (K-031).  If a student needs a transcript during any other time of the day, Mrs. Borchers will be in the Transcript Office (F-025)

    Goodwill Ambassadors’  The postponed meeting due to the snow day last Friday, will be held next Friday, January 19th in the cookie corner section of the cafeteria at 2:30.

    IMC Passes Beginning Tuesday, January 16, the IMC will deliver electronic passes (an email) to students for Tuesday’s Knight Time and Period 8B. Students will fill in a Google form (found on the IMC webpage) to attend KT or 8B in the IMC. This form will generate an email to the student.  Students will show this email to their classroom teacher and come to the IMC. Be prepared to show this email to the IMC staff as your pass to enter the IMC.  All existing rules are still in play:

    • Students must arrive or the IMC will write a cut slip
    • Students must stay the entire time
    • Students must be working/reading quietly

    Curriculum Fair On Wednesday, January 24th, there will be a Curriculum Fair during all lunches in the Senior Cafeteria. During this event, you will have the opportunity to find out more information about our course offerings, including electives, AP courses, and other details that may help you during this process.

    NPHS Key Club is collecting blankets and towels for a local dog shelter. The collection will run the entire month of January.  Please place your donations in the large collection box located at the Athletic Office.

    North Montco Drivers Ed classes begin on Tuesday, January 23rd. If interested please contact NMTCC and ask for Janet Carlson.

    NPHS Thespians will be auditioning single performers or groups (dance teams, band, etc.) for the 19th Annual Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Knight of the Arts to be held on Thursday, February 15.  They are looking for acts with primarily Broadway material, but all school appropriate material will be considered.  Acting, Dancing, Singing, or Other Acts will be chosen for the Main Stage and for the Coffee House Performances in the Auditorium Lobby.  Students and Staff are encouraged to participate!!!!     Gifted Mentorship Attention all 10th & 11th grade Gifted students: you are invited to attend an informational meeting about the "Gifted Mentorship" course option on Wednesday, January 31st  during period 8B in the Audion. If you are considering the "Gifted Mentorship" course, it is imperative that you attend this meeting. If you are unable to attend, please stop by E21 for the informational packet.

    JUNIORS :  If you are interested in learning more about the Job Training or Career/Work Study programs for next year please talk to your case manager if you have one. Also plan to attend a meeting on January 31st  in room A033 during 8B period.  Check in with your 8B period teacher first for attendance purposes. (Wright/Slater/Jermain/Iannello)

    JUNIOR PHYSICALS:  It is a State mandate that all 11th grade students have a physical examination.  Physicals done after September 1st of your sophomore year are valid.  Physicals may be performed by your primary care physician or at NPHS with our school doctor free of charge.  The State form for a private physical and the permission form for a school physical can be found on the NPSD website.  Go to:

    Physicals are now past due.  The school doctor is scheduled to be at the high school Wednesday, March 21st.  If you would like to schedule an appointment for a physical, please call the health suite at 215.853.1334 or return the permission form found on the NPSD website to the health suite.  Thank you.

    Boys Tennis Team Sign Ups during all lunch periods in the cafeteria on Monday, January 22 and Tuesday, January 23, 2018.

    STUDENT PARKING:  The parking lot is full for the 2017-18 school year.  If you would like a temporary day pass for activities or athletics, you may acquire one from your student's home office or the athletic office.
