North Penn SD Ranked #17 in 2019 Best School Districts in PA by Niche
The North Penn School District (NPSD) has recently been ranked number 17 in the 2019 Best School Districts in Pennsylvania by Niche.com in accordance to their new ranking system.
Niche offers a service called Niche K-12 which, according to the site, "offers unique insight into more than 120,000 K-12 schools [where] students and parents can explore millions of reviews and rankings and compare educational outcomes across schools and districts."
Niche recently released its rankings for schools on both a statewide and national level. Niche.com classified thousands of districts based on data from dozens of public data sources including the Department of Education, U.S. Census, and FBI and over 100 million reviews from students, parents and residents.
Niche assigns each school district a grade ranging from "A+"to "F-"in ten categories. These categories include Academics, Clubs & Activities, College Prep, Sports, and Teachers, all in which NPSD scored an "A+"; and Administration, Diversity, Health & Safety, Food and Resources & Facilities, all in which NPSD scored an "A."
NPSD boasted an overall rank of 17 out of 498 school districts in Pennsylvania along with being ranked the 29th best place to teach in Pennsylvania and the 31st most diverse school district in the state.

"We are incredibly proud of our students, staff, families, and the greater North Penn community on a daily basis and this recognition proves that those outside of North Penn recognize their commitment to greatness, as well."
