Dear North Penn Families,

This Saturday and Sunday, a very large number of staff are scheduled to receive Covid-19 vaccinations. As we consider the potential impact of short term side effects of the vaccine on our ability to provide transportation and to staff our buildings, we are designating Monday, March 15th as a 100 percent virtual day for students. The majority of students will receive live, synchronous instruction. However, there may be cases where teachers will need to provide asynchronous assignments to students and these teachers will be in touch with their students no later than the beginning of the day on Monday.

I am truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause your family. The decision was not made lightly as we want our students in school as many days as possible, however we are grateful for the opportunity to have the remainder of our staff vaccinated. Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
