North Penn Television (NPTV) students captured four prestigious High School Student Production Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Mid-Atlantic Chapter during the annual awards ceremony held at Temple University on May 13, 2025.
North Penn High School (NPHS) earned nine nominations across 17 categories, standing out among a competitive field of high schools from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. NPTV’s impressive showing was highlighted by the achievements of two seniors:

Rayat Karim was awarded Best Talent in News or Sports for his on-camera performance and reporting skills.
In addition to these awards, NPTV students received nominations in several other competitive categories, including:

This year’s success brings North Penn Television’s total to 33 NATAS Mid-Atlantic High School Student Television Awards since the awards program began in 2003, a testament to NPTV’s long-standing tradition of excellence in student broadcasting. These wins underscore NPTV’s reputation as a regional leader in student media production and storytelling.
The NATAS Student Production Awards recognize excellence in high school broadcasting and journalism. For NPTV, this recognition is not only a celebration of individual talent, but also of the collaborative spirit that defines North Penn’s award-winning media program.
