North Penn High School (NPHS) presents: Frozen Defrosted, a behind-the-scenes look at the production of Disney’s Frozen, the Broadway Musical. The documentary will premiere on North Penn Television (NPTV) on Friday, March 24, 7:30 PM.
The entire documentary, from filming to editing, was created by NPHS students in the career study program with NPTV. The documentary consists of five episodes that take viewers through the production process of putting together a musical, from auditions to the final curtain. Episode one will focus on the auditions for Disney’s Frozen, the Broadway Musical, as well as how NPHS won the exclusive rights to perform the show.
“We came up with the idea right when they announced the musical, and we knew it was a very big deal for NPHS to be chosen for Frozen,” said Audrey Keller, NPHS Senior and creator of Frozen Defrosted. “I’m looking forward to seeing people’s reactions to the documentary, as well as seeing the show come together as we continue with production of the musical.”
Frozen Defrosted, episode one, will premiere March 24, 7:30 PM, exclusively on NPTV. NPTV can be streamed on local Comcast channel 28, local Verizon channel 29, YouTube, and on Fire TV, Apple TV, and ROKU apps.
