North Penn Television (NPTV) students earned top honors at the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Mid-Atlantic Chapter High School Student Television Awards held at the Penn State Bellisario College of Communications.

NPTV received the award for Best Newscast and earned nominations for Feature News Package, Best Live Sports Broadcast, Best On-Air Talent, and Best Multi-Media Journalist.

This year’s success brings North Penn Television’s total to 34 NATAS Mid-Atlantic High School Student Television Awards since the awards program began in 2004, a testament to NPTV’s long-standing tradition of excellence in student broadcasting. These wins underscore NPTV’s reputation as a regional leader in student media production and storytelling.

“NPTV’s continued success is a reflection of the dedication, creativity, and professionalism of our students,” said Bob Gillmer, NPSD Coordinator of Communications Media and North Penn Television Co-Advisor. “These awards recognize not only technical skill, but also the teamwork and commitment our students bring to every production.”

The NATAS Student Production Awards recognize excellence in high school broadcasting and journalism. For NPTV, this recognition is not only a celebration of individual talent, but also of the collaborative spirit that defines North Penn’s award-winning media program.
