Tickets are on sale now for North Penn High School’s production of Mean Girls.
Mean Girls is a musical based on the 2004 movie. Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Cady and her friends devise a “Revenge Party” to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a queen bee without getting stung. Mean Girls reinvents the high school experience for a modern audience, asking us “how should we treat not just our friends, but our enemies?” With book by Tina Fey, music by Jeff Richmond, and lyrics by Neil Benjamin, you don’t want to miss out on this show. Please note that this show is rated PG-13.
Performances of Mean Girls will be held on April 30, May 1, and May 2 at 7:00 pm, and May 3 at 2 pm. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students.
