At the December 17, 2025 action meeting, the North Penn School District (NPSD) Board of School Directors approved the appointment of Lindsay Smith as the new Director of Technology beginning March 2026. Smith will be replacing Dr. Kristen Landis who has retired from NPSD after ten years.
Lindsay Smith joins North Penn with nearly two decades of experience in education, most recently as the Assistant Director of Technology and Innovation for Central Bucks School District. She has also served as the Principal of Central Bucks Cyber and Supervisor of Educational Technology for Central Bucks. Additionally, Smith has classroom experience as an elementary and middle school teacher, co-creating the QUEST program at Central Bucks, a STEM-focused curriculum.
“We are excited to welcome Lindsay Smith to North Penn as the new Director of Technology,” said Dr. Todd Bauer, Superintendent. “Her years of experience both as a classroom teacher and as a leader in educational technology will help us to continue our advancements in technology and ultimately improve student outcomes. We look forward to having Ms. Smith join our team.”
The North Penn School District would like to welcome Lindsay Smith to North Penn and wish her luck as she begins.
