DISCOVER NORTH PENN ODYSSEY OF THE MIND
Odyssey of the Mind is a competitive problem solving program.
Odyssey of the Mind HQ is the international organization that
administrates the program for schools throughout the United States
and around the world. PA Odyssey of the Mind has six regions
which includes Southeast PA, where North Penn teams compete
against other teams from the SEPA region. North Penn Odyssey of
the Mind is the program for NPSD students who would like to participate
in Odyssey of the Mind. This program is open to all NPSD students in
Grades K-12+.
On Wednesday, September 30th, North Penn Odyssey of the Mind will host
an Open House for families to explore the district program. Interested
students can learn about the program from experienced coaches and their
team members who will share props and costumes used in skits at competitions.
Last year, twenty-eight teams represented NPSD at the Southeast PA Odyssey of
the Mind Regional Competition at Temple University Ambler Campus. Fourteen teams
advanced to states and two teams competed at the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals!
Families interested in learning how to participate in NP OM next year can
plan to attend the annual Open House on September 30th. Information will be sent to
