Last week was Inclusive Schools Week at North Penn, a chance for our students and staff to celebrate the diversity of our community. This year's theme was "Draw Me In", utilizing art as a way to express oneself and opening doors to understanding.
Monday was "D" for Diversity, celebrating the students of North Penn who have a variety of experiences to share and talents to offer.
Tuesday was "R" for Rise Together, for each person with different hopes, beliefs, and dreams that make a beautiful mosaic.
Wednesday was "A" for Acceptance and Awareness, spreading awareness of inclusion and helping all to feel accepted and respected.
Thursday was "W" for Wonderfully Worthy, recognizing all of our wonderful talents and abilities.
Friday was "Me In", celebrating everyone in North Penn as an important part of the learning community.
Our schools celebrated Inclusive Schools Week in a variety of ways each day, including Oak Park Elementary who created a communal art project to hang in the hallways and celebrate their school community.
