School Board Meeting Information

 

In consideration of the health and safety of the school community, public attendance to all NPSD Board of School Directors meetings, with the exception of action meetings, will take place virtually. Community members and those who would like to watch or participate will be able to do so using the virtual meeting platform, Zoom.

Beginning May 20, 2021, action meetings can accommodate public attendance with a limited capacity. Due to current PA Health Department Guidelines, the district can accommodate up to 10 members of the public in person at the NPSD Educational Services Center. Members of the public who wish to attend a meeting may view the instructions for attendance and must sign up using the form located at the link below.

How to Watch Meetings

Residents can watch live on the NPTV YouTube Channel, North Penn News, or NPTV local Comcast Cable Channel 28 and Verizon FIOS-TV Channel 29.

A recording of this meeting will be available on the NPTV YouTube Channel, and will air on North Penn Television Comcast Cable Channel 28 and Verizon FIOS-TV Channel 29 for the next three business days at 12:30 pm and 7:30 pm.

 

How to View Meeting Agendas

Meeting agendas are published the week of the meeting and can be viewed online on BoardDocs. To view meeting agendas, visit BoardDocs and select the "Meetings" tab in the top right corner. From there, find and select the meeting, and then click "view agenda".

How to Participate in Meetings through Public Comment

Public comment will be available using Zoom. For privacy purposes, a link to make public comment will be available on this page prior to the start of the meeting.

To make public comment, please connect and register using the link below and follow all directions. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. When it is time for public comment, please use the “raise your hand” feature in the zoom webinar. We will take public comment in order that hands were raised. Please listen for your name when called upon for comment and unmute your microphone.

If you do not have access to zoom, please email your comments to _npschoolboard@npenn.org and it will be included in the board minutes.

Please note that some calendar events are color-coded. Please use the color coding key below to help identify events more easily.

  • School Board Meetings = Green      
  • Cancellations = Red     
  • Holidays = Purple     
  • No School for Students = Orange     
  • Schools and District Offices Closed = Grey     
  • All other events = Blue
