The North Penn School District (NPSD) Office of School and Community Engagement is the proud recipient of several awards from the Pennsylvania School Public Relations Association (PenSPRA) as part of its annual "Excellence in Education Communication "contest.
North Penn earned five awards total with one Award of Excellence and four Awards of Honor. PenSPRA's Communications Contest gives professionals in school communications an opportunity to showcase their work throughout the school year. This year, eligible categories for submission included digital media, graphic design, publications, special purpose projects and videos. Judging was conducted by a panel of independent professionals, who provide all contestants with feedback after the contest has concluded.
The highest honor, an Award of Excellence, was earned in the Special Purpose Projects Category by NPSD Communications and Development Specialist Kaity Andrey for the North Penn Community Build-A-Bag Backpack and School Supply Drive. Click here to see the winning project submission.
NPSD Advertising and Marketing Specialist Erika Shaedle brought home an Award of Honor in the Publications Category for her production of the NPSD 2018-2019 Activities Calendar. In the Videos Category, NPTV and NPSD Coordinator of Communications Media Bob Gillmer earned three Awards of Honor for This is Me, Full Day Kindergarten is Coming to North Penn and The Foundation is here for You.
